Inverary to not sure where (somewhere between Spean Bridge and Invergary)

We left the beautiful loch Fyne fairly late this morning as we knew we only had 90ish miles to do. (Yes we don’t count that as hard these days)

Before we could start warming up on properly on the bikes we turned the corner at our hotel and was faced with a 750 foot climb- oh joy!

Luckily that was the worst of the hills and we cycled through endless stunning countryside through the forests of Bute and along Loch Awe. Highland drizzle and mist accompanied us throughout the day but we were warm and dry and so I actually enjoyed experiencing the true Scottish highlands.

We’re now somewhere between Spean Bridge and Invergary at a hotel right next to Loch Lochy. The views are stunning- just the loch, mountains and highland mist.

Off to Tain tomorrow.
