Focusing On: Your Health

Once we have met and made sure we will work well together we will carry out a short health assessment. This will give us a good starting point and will ensure your programme is targeted to your fitness ability. We will then go through your results, answering any questions you might have, and get your training plan started.

Ongoing health assessment checks are a great way to measure progress and keep you on target to reach your goals.

We will carry out the following tests as part of your assessment-

Blood Pressure

Blood Pressure

Blood Pressure and Resting Heart Rate (RHR)

1 in 4 people have high blood pressure and are often unaware until it’s too late. Lifestyle changes such as improving your diet and exercise can help reduce this. The RHR is how many times your heart beats a minute when you’re at rest. This can be an indication for how physically fit you are.

BMI and Body Composition

Body composition checks show the different percentages of fat and muscle we have in our bodies. The results are used to help shape your program and focus on key areas for improvement.

Flexibility
