Well after thinking today was going to be a bit easier than yesterday, it turns out that 115 miles in 11 hours isn’t so easy going…

The climb up to Dartmoor, 1500 feet, was surprisingly easy, but the flat parts seemed to go on forever.

The rest of the day was also flat, but after hitting Bristol it got very hilly again towards the end, following the M5 on the roads which were there before the M5 was.

By the time we got to Bristol it was getting dark and the rain had set in. We’re looking forward to riding with everyone else who is joining us tomorrow for the 200k route to Oswestry!

Stats for the day-
113.8 miles
Highest climb-1500 feet
Average speed- still a slow 14.3 miles
Total cycling time: 7 hours 58 minutes

All the hills included we climbed- 5500 feet
Some towns we went through- Tavistock, Princetown, Moretonhampstead, Exeter, Broadclyst, Cullompton, Taunton, Bridgwater, Bristol.
